For the Dressage Only Division, you may pick from the tests above or any "regular" USEF/ USDF dressage test, which may be downloaded HERE Tests that require the Standard size arena (First Level and above) will be ridden after all the event derby tests are completed (as we will need to adjust the arena length).
What is an Event Derby? The derby is a very fun two phase event consisting of a dressage test ridden in the sand arena and a jumping round out in the large grass field. The jumping round is mixed colorful stadium fences and more natural and solid cross country fences. The cross country jumps can also include water, a bank jump and ditches. The derby is divided into divisions by height of the jumps (18" to 3'3") and will also be divided into Junior and Senior divisions if the number of entries warrant. Very spectator friendly and exciting to watch!

Would you like to support Sunset Farm Park? Do you want to promote the sport of eventing? Or perhaps both? Please consider volunteering for the Event Derby.
The Event Derby is a major fund raiser for the Friends of Sunset Farm, providing funds to cover the liability insurance policy that allows the cross county jumps to be available to the public, pays the water bill to keep the water jump filled, pays for mowing, paint for the arena fence and any improvements or repairs that get made. In the summer of 2016, the Friends replaced the base in the water jump, a much needed repair that cost nearly $3,700 in just materials alone!
